Events in 2015
The Cultural Heritage Foundation in Stuttgart has granted further 15,000€ for the restauration of the synagogue. Since we expect donations from other sources as well we think we can finish the restauration work inside the synagogue during the current year
June 11: Members' Meeting
The members' meeting 2015 was held in the synagogue on June 16.
On this year's annual village fête we have shown pictures of our late member Helmut Frank
On „European Heritage Day” the synagogue will be open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Members of our society will be present for talk and information.
On October 22, 1940 – 75 years ago – the Jewish population of Baden was deported to Gurs in South-France.
In cooperation with the denkmal-aktiv AG of the Wilhelmi-Gymnasium Sinsheim, the VHS Sinsheim and „Spielmobil im Kraichgau e.V.” we commemorate this event in a series of events.
As already in 2004 a Muslimah, a Jewish and a Christian woman talked under the heading „Eve's Daughters” about the different rôle models given through their resp. religion.

Participants of the study trip in April 2015 have created an exhibition. Different impressions from a group that went together to this place of inhumanity will be shown.

In the Steinsfurt synagogue on sunday October 18, at 3 pm we had a commemoration for the deportation of the Jews 75 years ago.

A central event took place at the memorial in Neckarzimmern starting 2 pm
On the Synagogenplatz in Sinsheim we remember the pogroms in November 1938, when the Sinsheim synagoge was burned down, too.

The exhibition „Zeitzeugen” (contemporary wittnesses) with photographs from Jewish cemeteries is shown in Bad Rappenau in the Forum „Fränkischer Hof” (Heinsheimer Straße 16) from September 26 to November 2015
